Dora O’Malley is a native speaker of Spanish with university studies in translation and language teaching and certifications in software and website localization.
Dora was born and lived in Argentina where she completed studies in English-Spanish translation at the University of La Plata. Later on she moved to Canada where she obtained her specialization in teaching English as a second language from Concordia University, Montreal.
She has done translations for a cross-section of international companies and developed a team of multilingual translators who have been working together for many years.
Work done includes translation projects for for 3M, Imation, Honeywell, Pillsbury, IAG, St. Paul Public Schools, The Ryan Companies, LaserMaster, CharlesBridge Publications, SmartCarte, Retek, Anchor, and many other USA and foreign companies. She has also taught Spanish for medical professionals at Century College and Regions Hospital, MN, USA.
